Activating Responsible Corporations
About us
Activating Responsible Corporations, or ARC, is a network of international researchers dedicated to progressing responsible corporate behaviour.
We are an interdisciplinary network representing a diverse range of approaches, including corporate and other areas of law, ethics, and indigenous perspectives, and we hope to expand disciplinary approaches.
ARC’s foundation project is a comprehensive examination of the nature of the corporate form, which will be published as essays in a series of books. These will provide the first modern comprehensive study of the corporation from a variety of different disciplines and methodological approaches.
This project emerged from a series of international workshops jointly hosted by the Universities of Auckland, Edinburgh and Monash in 2023-24. Other foundation members are from: Università Bocconi, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Tilburg University, Open University, University of Athens, Maastricht University and London School of Economics.
